During the festivities Ren together with others managed to stop and capture 3 burglars that are stealing a woman's purse. The Kuonji household is in for a big surprise when Ren and Hato-nee's step-father sees the newspaper article extolling Ren's efforts during Hanami and so finds out where they have been hiding from him.
